The vision of
Love in Action, Inc. is to have all of us identify things we can do to
make the lives of those around us a little better, whether by offering
a ride, or a meal, or remodeling a home.
Love In Action is about
matching needs with those who
want to meet them.
All too often
there are those in great need that seem to fall through the cracks of
the various systems designed to be of service.
Through Love In Action
Inc. we hope to help people become more aware of the smaller
non-profits, closer to their homes and hearts, that have no funds to
advertise.
Eventually we hope to enable people to become aware of
people on their block that need assistance to go shopping, take
a walk, or just need someone to talk to. Maybe even busy moms can trade off driving duties through this
site .

ACTION IS TO MARRY THE DESIRE WE ALL HAVE TO HELP ONE ANOTHER
WITH THE TECHNOLOGY TO MAKE IT HAPPEN!
Love In Action was conceived
and created as a lasting tribute and memorial to John Joseph Picini Jr.
by Regina Murphy, his mother.
John was a unique
individual who seemed to inspire everyone he came in contact with,
through his ability to selflessly give of himself, without being
asked, fulfilling the unspoken needs of those around him - if he knew
them personally, or not.
Everyone who knew
John as he walked this earth, had no doubt that John would freely give
them very shirt off his back if they ever needed it. John's ability to
give seemed to know no boundaries, and has touched and inspired many
towards the same goal.
It is from the inspiration
of John's life that Love In Action is birthed...
and in that tradition Love In Action will follow.
